A small studio in Jodhpur that takes on fewer weddings on purpose

Shree Jagdamba Studio 29 started the way most small studios do — one camera, a lot of weekends, and a reputation built entirely on families recommending us to other families. That is still where most of our work comes from.

We photograph weddings, destination weddings, pre-wedding shoots, engagements, receptions, maternity and newborn sessions, family functions, portfolios and commercial work. The approach does not change much between them: turn up early, stay out of the way, and be ready for the moments that are not on anyone's schedule.

Being based in Jodhpur matters more than it sounds. We already know which courtyard at Mehrangarh holds light until six, how long a fort permission actually takes to come through, and how to get a baraat through the old city lanes without losing the light. Couples booking from Mumbai, Delhi or abroad are mostly buying that.

What we care about is fairly simple. That your parents can find themselves in the album. That the film still holds up when you watch it on an anniversary. That the photographs look like the day actually felt, rather than like a catalogue.
