Post-Wedding & Reception Photography
The shoot you actually have time for — your wedding outfits, no schedule, and the portraits the wedding day was too busy to allow.
Most couples finish their wedding realising they have six hundred photographs of the event and almost none of just the two of them. The day moves too fast. There is always someone waiting.
A post-wedding shoot fixes that. You wear the outfits again, we pick a location with no relatives in it — the fort ramparts, the stepwell, a blue-washed lane at first light — and take the time the wedding day never had. It is also the most comfortable most couples ever look on camera: the pressure is off, the wedding is done, and it shows.
We also cover receptions in full. Reception lighting in Jodhpur banquet halls is genuinely difficult — mixed LEDs, coloured uplighting, dark ceilings — and we bring our own lighting rather than pushing the ISO and hoping.

Pick the setting
Mehrangarh's ramparts, Jaswant Thada in white marble, the stepwell at blue hour, Kaylana Lake at sunset — or a plain studio backdrop if you want the outfits to be the whole story. We suggest options based on the colours in your outfits.

Unhurried portraits
No timeline, no relatives, no one waiting at the next function. That is the whole difference — we can wait for the light instead of shooting through whatever light we are handed.

Reception coverage
We arrive before guests, light the stage and portrait area properly, and organise the family photo queue so it does not consume your evening. Speeches are recorded with proper audio, not the camera's onboard mic.

Delivery
Retouched gallery within 2–3 weeks, reception film within 4 weeks, both in a private album you can share with family who could not attend.

Post-Wedding & Reception FAQs
How soon after the wedding should we do a post-wedding shoot?
Anywhere from a few days to a few months. Many couples do it in the week between the wedding and the reception while the outfits and jewellery are still to hand. We have also shot couples on their first anniversary in their wedding clothes.
Do we have to wear the wedding outfits again?
Not at all. Many couples want the opposite — something simple that puts the focus on them rather than the clothes. Both work.
Can you handle a dark banquet hall reception?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons couples switch photographers. Grainy, orange reception photos are a lighting problem, not a camera problem. We bring our own lighting rather than relying on venue uplighting.
Can you cover just the reception and not the wedding?
Yes. Reception-only coverage is a standard booking, often for couples who married elsewhere and are hosting a reception here for family who could not travel.
