Scale is also the problem. These venues are enormous, largely unlit after dark, and heavily restricted about where a tripod may stand. Venue-first planning
Tell us the venue before the date if you can. Umaid Bhawan, Mehrangarh, Chokelao Bagh, Rohet Garh and Khimsar each have their own rules, their own in-house teams and their own light. Our plan starts from the building.

Permissions and recce
Fort and monument shoots need paperwork, and it is not fast. We handle the liaison and visit at your ceremony's time of day, because a courtyard that is beautiful at 4 PM can be in full shadow by 5:30.

Multi-venue days
Destination weddings move — mehndi at the hotel, baraat through the old city, pheras at the fort. We split the team so no function is ever uncovered while the group is in transit.

Do you charge travel and accommodation for a Jodhpur destination wedding?
No. We are based in Jodhpur, so for weddings here there is no travel or stay line on your quote at all — which for a multi-day event is a meaningful difference against booking a team from Delhi or Mumbai. For weddings elsewhere in Rajasthan or India, travel is quoted as a clear separate line before you book.
Can you shoot at Mehrangarh Fort or Umaid Bhawan Palace?
Yes, and we have. Both require advance permission, and the fort in particular restricts equipment and areas. We handle the liaison, but the paperwork takes time — bring us in as early as you can rather than the week before.
Are there extra charges for permissions?
Venue and monument fees are set by the venue, not by us, and we pass them through at cost with the receipt. We never mark them up. What we do charge for is the time spent arranging them, and that is stated in the quote upfront.
Our family is flying in from abroad. Can they see the photos?
Yes. Everything is delivered through a private online gallery that works anywhere in the world with full-resolution downloads. The 48-hour teaser is deliberately sized for WhatsApp so it reaches relatives who could not travel.
What is the best season for a Jodhpur wedding shoot?
October to March. The light is clean, the evenings are cool enough for outdoor functions, and the blue city photographs beautifully in low winter sun. April to June is punishing outdoors — over 40°C by mid-morning — and we plan those weddings around dawn and after sunset.
Can you also shoot a pre-wedding at the same venues?
Often the best plan. Couples arriving a few days early use the time for a pre-wedding shoot around the fort, the stepwell and the blue city lanes — the same locations, without three hundred guests in the frame.
